This card is about the times when we erase our own value, hoping it will prevent others from rejecting us. This can occur when we undercharge or apologize for having needs. When our worth depends upon how agreeable and low-maintenance we are, these costs add up over time and lead to chronic self-abandonment.

It is good to be humble, fair and conscientious, but we lose our dignity when we allow others to exploit us. In the body, this can manifest as a tight stomach, shallow breathing, or a sinking sensation when asserting our needs.

This card asks: Where have I softened my value in terms of pricing, overgiving or maintaining my boundaries? The healing mantra is: There is beauty and nobility in fair exchange. I will honestly name my value without shame.
